To celebrate their 200th episode, #DolbyCreatorTalks sat down with our Founder & CEO, Senior Colorist Stefan Sonnenfeld! In this engaging video interview, Stefan joins Glenn Kiser, Director of the Dolby Institute, to discuss his experience working with Hollywood's top talent as a colorist. Stefan emphasizes, "It's a team sport. Everybody plays a part in it. And it's why it's so enjoyable for me. You have to involve a lot of people, but in general, the director, let's say that's the main person. You have to have a good relationship with that person, and you have to be able to interpret what they're saying and get that onto the screen." Senior Colorist Siggy Ferstl has an impressive list of credits that includes Netflix's 'Avatar: The Last Air Bender,' 'Wednesday' and Prime Video's 'The Boys.' In a recent interview with LBBonline - Little Black Book, he discussed his creative process when working with collaborators. "When I see the images for a commercial, my first impressions are usually about how it was shot. I try to put myself in the cinematographer's headspace before having a conversation with the creatives to see what their ideas and expectations are for the spot. I usually weigh up all those factors, and I like it when I can have the time to get a feel of the images and then develop a look once I have all that information."   Read more about Siggy and his advice for colorists here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/gnPE6GF3
