Last Friday was the DiverseCity Fellows retreat, the final session and closing celebration for the 2023/24 cohort. This significant event wrapped up a year-long journey, providing Fellows with an opportunity to solidify the leadership and city-building skills they had developed throughout the program. The event also served as a moment to strengthen and celebrate the relationships they had built while reflecting on their experiences, sharing key insights, and discussing their future aspirations. Following the session, a dinner and social gathering allowed Fellows, CivicAction staff and board members to celebrate their accomplishments together. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire 2023/24 Fellows cohort for their invaluable contributions and active participation throughout the program. We also extend our gratitude to the Ismaili Centre for graciously hosting us and to their dedicated team and volunteers whose efforts made the day possible!
