After last week’s flooding, we wanted to let you know about some important projects we’re working on, as a major source of pollution in our waterways is stormwater runoff and combined sewer overflows. The Don River and Central Waterfront Wet Weather Flow System will keep combined sewer overflows out of the Lower Don River, Taylor-Massey Creek and the Inner Harbour. It is one of several connected projects that make up the largest and most significant water quality improvement program in Canada. Want to learn more about what we’re doing to manage stormwater?
