We are privledged to have Robert Black present on the Progress on the NEWPCC (North End Waste Pollution Control Center) Upgrade - Phase 1 Headworks Concrete. The NEWPCC sewage treatment plant is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Canada, and is currently progressing through Phase I – construction of the pump station and primary treatment facility. Presentation will cover the broad application of concrete in all aspects of the project ranging from large diameter rock socketed cast-in-place piles, large diameter PCCP, water retaining walls and floors, precast walls and roof elements, and convention cast-in-place structural concrete.
