This week, we hosted an Archival Exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario, celebrating over 65 years of heritage and craftsmanship. Surrounded by decades of rich history, we embarked on a journey through time, displaying our most iconic designs, never-before-seen collaborations, and select pieces from our archives. Among them was the jacket designed by David Reiss in collaboration with Laurie Skreslet, the first Canadian to summit Mount Everest. We also showcased gear used by scientists at McMurdo Station and styles that have made their mark in Hollywood films like The Day After Tomorrow and National Treasure. As we reflect on our past, we’re inspired to build an even bolder future. Thank you to everyone who has helped shape our story. Here’s to the next chapter!

Canada Goose was born in the North. For generations, we have been inspired by its people, communities, and landscapes. Last week, we were thrilled to return to Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, to deliver over 11,000m of fabric, supplies, and other materials to the community though our Resource Centre program. We also had the pleasure of reconnecting with former Project Atigi designer Alaana Tatty, who shared her knowledge of traditional sewing practices with members of the National Inuit Youth Council, passing valuable techniques on to the next generation. A heartfelt thank you to Canadian North Airlines, Ilitaqsiniq: Nunavut Literacy Council and Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami for your partnership and for welcoming Canada Goose into your communities. At Canada Goose, we are committed to retail excellence and a deep understanding of our consumers. In June, we hosted our annual Store Manager Conference in Toronto, bringing together over 40 managers from across our more than 70 retail locations worldwide. For three action-packed days, store managers engaged in interactive sessions and workshops focused on product strategies, digital innovation, consumer insights, and more. They also had the opportunity to visit our factory, a highlight for many, where they experienced firsthand the craftsmanship, rich heritage, and relentless innovation behind each of our products. It concluded with an awards dinner, celebrating the team’s passion and dedication to delivering Canadian Warmth every day.

In celebration of Pride Month, our Diversity and Inclusion Team hosted events throughout June to promote inclusion and education for all employees. We are committed to building environments where people can be their authentic selves year-round. “Celebrating pride also raises awareness and provides learnings to those outside and inside the community.” - Jacob C., Canada Goose Developer, Product Offshore Outerwear. We were thrilled to welcome Victor Zhang from The 519 to lead a workshop for our employees. The dialogue focused on uplifting, empowering, and supporting 2SLGBTQ individuals in the workplace, and how to cultivate an inclusive environment where Two-Spirit, queer, and trans people can thrive. “It's about celebrating our uniqueness while finding common ground.” – Ryan Sia - MBA, PMP, CSM, Canada Goose Director, Technology Operations & Cybersecurity. To conclude our Pride festivities at Canada Goose, we hosted a vibrant Drag Brunch at our Toronto Headquarters with Tay BoBo, Virgo Queen, and Canada's Drag Race’s Luna Du Bois. Drag is a part of 2SLGBTQIA culture and celebrates diverse voices and different forms of gender expression within this community. Happy Pride!

During the month of June, we celebrate National Indigenous History Month, recognizing and celebrating the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Indigenous peoples. While many Indigenous groups share some commonalities, they each have their own distinct heritage, language, cultural practices, and spiritual beliefs. Our Diversity & Inclusion team is dedicated to empowering all employees through education, awareness, and cultural understanding. Part of that cultural understanding is learning about the cultural practices of Indigenous peoples and their significance. We were delighted to host Katie Longboat, originally from Six Nations of the Grand River, at our Toronto Headquarters to lead a beading workshop. Beading is a cultural art form deeply valued by Indigenous communities. This tradition, passed down through generations, serves as a means of preserving and conveying cultural knowledge, while also promoting wellness and fostering community.
