🚀 Collision Conf 2024 was AMAZING for the OneCliq team! 🌟 One of our standout moments was Tanika McLeod moderating a panel for the Black Founders Network (BFN) 🙌 ✨ Dive into a snippet from her session where the panelists shared their make-or-break moments in their fundraising journeys. From overcoming a $200k tech build quote with only $5k in hand to navigating the nail-biting market validation tests, the stories of resilience and ingenuity were truly inspiring. The recurring theme? Unrelenting resilience and the ability to pivot and innovate under pressure. 💪 Catch the full video on our YouTube channel for more insights and inspiration! It has been a week since the Collision Conf ended, yet the speakers' experience, knowledge, and insights continue to linger in my mind. We engaged in meaningful discussions during the conference and gained insights from keynote speakers, panellists, and participants. We learned about the latest trends and developments in the tech industry and strategies for business growth and success. One of the most valuable takeaways was understanding the importance of collaboration and leveraging each other's strengths to drive innovation and progress. The conference was an excellent opportunity for networking with the JL13 Concepts team, and we had the chance to showcase MYAreaa INC; we collided with old friends like the team from the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, Tayo, Sidney, Adaeze of Innovate Calgary, Lulu of LiiT Care Connect Inc. and new friends Kemi & Idowu of Scooly, Paschal, David of Zeeh Africa, Onyeka of Treepz, Seun, Batholomew, Fiyin and Ridwan. We are most grateful for the networking session facilitated by BlackNorth InitiativeBlack Opportunity Fund, Black Founders NetworkDMZBlack Entrepreneurship AllianceTribe NetworkNobellumFederation of Black Canadians and African Impact Initiative—A special shout-out to Efosa and the team. We sincerely appreciate all you do for Black entrepreneurs. How can I forget Brian from SwiftAds.io? Thank you for showcasing MYAreaa INC. Shout-outs to Jonah and James of Woveo! James, your energy is intoxicating, bro; see you gentlemen in Calgary soon! Special thanks to all who visited our booth! Your feedback, energy, and encouragement are intoxicating. Finally, the Collision Conference highlighted the need for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. As a Black-led company, we are honoured to have participated in an inclusive event showcasing diverse voices and perspectives.

Exciting news to share! Last week, I had the honour of being selected as one of the winners of the $20k AmplifyHer Pitch Competition at Collision Conf. Pitching in public for the first time was a big milestone for me, especially as it meant putting myself and my business, Ginny, out there. The journey of the past 7 months has been incredible, and we're realizing that the sky's the limit. I'm thrilled about what lies ahead! Big thanks to Black Founders Network and #BlackInnovationZone for creating such amazing opportunities. Also, immense gratitude to the judges at BDC and Pitch Better for their invaluable feedback and support. #startup #nonalcoholicbeverages #Inclusivedrinking #blackfounders

I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since I’ve used my favourite platform! I’ve missed it here so much! It has been so weird going about my days without Linkedln, lol. I have been off my routine, but you know what? Sometimes life just happens, and you need to pause and catch your breath. I'm glad I did! 😊 Before I get back to my usual routine, I just wanted to pop in to talk about the power of manifestation! I remember when I had my presentation at Durham College earlier this year, a student asked me about the event I was looking forward to. This was my response: “Collision! I don’t know how just yet, but I know I will attend it.” LOL! I had absolutely no idea how it was going to happen, but I wanted it, so I started taking some steps. I added it to my calendar, I wouldn't shut up about it and whenever someone asked if I was going, I’d say, “I don’t know how just yet, but I will.” In having so many conversations with people about it, I finally got my ticket! And guys, the event totally blew my mind. The caliber of people I met, the super insightful panel sessions, the innovative products I learned about, the exceptional founders I met—all made it a wholesome experience for me! Sometimes we really don’t know how something will happen, but when we believe, manifest, and put in the work, it will surely happen! 😎 A little bit of positive delulu here and there isn't so bad if you ask me. 😂 Is there something you want/need, MANIFEST IT!!! 🤗
