Research and evaluation are central to our work. Data drives informed strategies and solutions, and our evaluators are at the core of this process. That’s why we’re proud to support both emerging and established evaluators in British Columbia by sponsoring this event.

Spotted on transit 🔎: A career that goes beyond the office—environmental public health (EPH). We partnered with Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors to launch their first student recruitment campaign, highlighting a career in EPH and the many benefits it offers. Featuring eye-catching images captured by our team in the field, a bold tagline, and an informative landing page, the campaign showcases key aspects of a career in EPH and invokes curiosity and interest for the target audience. We've enjoyed working with CIPHI for many years and are excited to see this new campaign roll out across Canada.

Although Environmental Public Health Week has come to an end, the vital work of environmental public health professionals (EPHPs) continues. In CIPHI’s recent LinkedIn posts like the one below, EPHPs shared snapshots of their fieldwork, and we partnered with CIPHI to highlight their efforts. Visit CIPHI’s LinkedIn page and see EPHPs in action.

🌍 Environmental Public Health Week- September 23- 29, 2024! 🎉 Flooding can severely impact communities, but Environmental Public Health Professionals (EPHPs) play a critical role in disaster preparedness and response. They work to minimize risks and protect public health in flood-prone areas. From preventing waterborne diseases to addressing mold growth and other hazards, EPHPs help keep communities safe.🌧️💧 🌐 https://ciphi.ca/

Today marks the beginning of Truth and Reconciliation Week, hosted by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation. Each day, their free Lunch and Learn webinars feature subject matter experts who share valuable insights with the public. You can access these webinars here: https://trw-svr.nctr.ca/. For the first session, we had the privilege of hearing from Kathy Pompana and Dr. Maureen Lux as they explored the link between the residential school system and the lesser-known colonial health care system, Indian Hospitals, and their lasting impact today. It was a new topic for us and the session added depth and context to our learning journey, sparking meaningful discussions among those who attended. If you missed it, the webinar is available to watch here: https://lnkd.in/gCSTp5AC We're grateful to the Centre and the experts who generously share their time and knowledge. With many important topics still to come, there are plenty of opportunities to learn and expand your understanding. We encourage you and your teams to tune in.

We’re excited to announce that Annalise Burdett (deBoer) is now our new VP of Projects and Client Experience. Annalise has been an invaluable partner to our clients, working collaboratively with them to address challenges and achieve their goals. Meticulous in her work, she builds project boards down to the tiniest details, and she always seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to anticipating client needs. We couldn’t think of a better person to step into this role and further enhance our clients' experiences. Congratulations, Annalise! Here’s to more wins, more success, and a whole lot of boss moves! 💪

We went to New York City as finalists for our category in the 2024 Ragan Communications and PR Daily Social Media & Digital Awards and came back with the hardware! 🎉 The Proof, our province-wide campaign launched in partnership with BC Cancer, raised awareness about the links between alcohol and certain types of cancer. It featured attractive designs inspired by alcohol advertising tactics combined with strong evidence-based messaging. This campaign was the result of our entire team's efforts. Our project manager, researchers, designers, developers, communicators, leads, and administrative team all contributed to its success. It’s incredibly rewarding to see this work recognized. At an event celebrating amazing content and marketing teams and their innovative campaigns, we couldn’t be more honoured to receive this recognition. Congratulations to everyone on our team for this accomplishment, and to all the finalists and winners of the night. A special shoutout to the teams at Sanofi, Ruder Finn, and Room to Read. It was lovely to meet you and learn about your amazing campaigns. #PRDailyAwards #AwardWinningCampaigns #BCorp
