Had an inspiring morning at the Healthy Seniors Pilot Project Symposium in Fredericton, NB, exploring key issues in healthy aging. Dr. Pam Jarrett, NB Geriatrician, provided valuable insights into Healthy Aging in New Brunswick. We also heard from David Black, Wendy Rogers, and Michelle Lafrance in a powerful panel discussion on The Experience of Aging in NB, sharing personal perspectives on the realities of aging in our province. The symposium featured three concurrent sessions on crucial topics, including Aging in First Nations/Indigenous Communities, Palliative & Long-Term Care, and Technology and Aging. These sessions sparked important discussions about improving senior care and supporting aging populations in New Brunswick. We at AGE-WELL National Innovation Hub APPTA are grateful to be part of such an impactful event, and looking forward to continuing the conversation on healthy aging. #HealthyAging #HSPP
