As devasting wildfires continue in Jasper and other communities across Alberta and British Columbia, the Port of Vancouver community is standing with all those affected. We are working to support supply chain recovery for Canadians. My sincere thanks to CN and CPKC for their coordinated efforts, as well as all our partners on the frontlines for their response and recovery efforts.
Over the past few days, communities across British Columbia and Alberta have been severely impacted by wildfires. Our thoughts are with those impacted and with the emergency response teams working tirelessly to fight the fires. We also want to thank our supply chain partners who have come together to support the safe movement of goods during this time. In particular, we recognize CN and CPKC for taking further fire precautions with specially designed water trains, fire suppression equipment, and monitoring.

You loved the photos so much, we had to share the footage too 🎥 The HaiSea Wamis is departing the Vancouver Harbour for the final time this weekend, to sail home to Kitamaat Village. It will be joined by the rest of the HaiSea Marine fleet by mid-August, where they will prepare for the opening of the LNG Canada facility, coming online later this year. For many generations, Haisla Nation has successfully navigated the waters of the Douglas Channel. With HaiSea Marine, they will be continuing to do so in one of the greenest tugboat fleets in the world.

>PORT OF NANAIMO: impressive operations of the BC Vehicle Processing Centre is ensuring new cars get to markets. Port of Nanaimo
Cars are big business here at the Port of Nanaimo. As we prepare to welcome our 10th car ship of the year, we wanted to showcase the BC Vehicle Processing Centre (BCVPC). This cutting-edge facility has storage space for over 3,000 vehicles and can provide bespoke on-site services. Their fantastic team has gone above and beyond for auto manufacturers for five years! The car ships destined for the BCVPC always provide great views of the impressive scale of its operations. Check out some of our great aerial photos of a car ship offloading brand-new vehicles destined for various locations across Canada and beyond.
