A pleasure to meet in person Malcolm Green, and Ken Johnson from the Maricopa Agricultural Center of the University of Arizona. Exploring how to collaborate to better predict climate risk in desert agriculture. Inspiring discussion with Glenn Williamson about the challenges in water conservation and preservation, including desert cities like Phoenix. The Salt River Project is a great example of how to delivered low-cost, reliable power and water to communities in Arizona. Pleasure to discuss with Erica Roelfs and Marc Valenzuela. William Maloney from the The World Bank, talking about the costs of climate change and why sustainability is profitable for businesses. Todd Brady from Intel Corporation, sharing thoughts about chalenges to assess climate risks on global supply chain networks. Great meeting with Ole Kristian Sivertsen and Marty Weems MSc, MBA from Desert Control. Aiming to stop and reverse desertification and soil degradation. Thanks to Jérôme Pischella from the Consulate General Of Canada in Los Angeles, and thanks to David Brulotte, and Mathieu Cormier from the Québec Government Office in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley.
