Cavendish drive update: Our crews are continuing to work and have made significant progress in bringing the water level down. We now have two pumps on site to stabilize the drain and to help in case of additional rain. We're working as quickly and safely as possible to repair the damage.

Highway Update: You may have noticed some rubber debris on Highway 407 ETR, but don’t worry this isn’t a danger to drivers! The rubber debris has come loose from joints in the concrete due to the recent heatwave and heavy rainfall. Our patrol teams are working day and night to safely clear the debris from the roadway and we’ll be replacing the rubber in a phased approach. As we continue to experience hot summer months, more debris may appear, but rest assured, we’re on it!

Cavendish Drive flood update:   407 ETR's crews have been on site in Burlington since Tuesday's extreme rainfall, working around the clock. Water drainage is still underway and we will continue to be on site until it is fully cleared. We're slowly releasing the water to ensure the embankment slope remains stable.   Once the water level has gone down, we will be able to assess the impacted infrastructure and determine necessary repairs.

NCC interns in Ontario made a significant impact this spring by restoring wetland habitats in Brighton and Minesing. Supported by 407 ETR, their important restoration work will ensure that these wetlands are conserved for generations to come, providing clean water for people and pristine habitat for the species who call them home.
