The Eevee Week 2023 event was held between November 20 and 26, 2023. All locations were able to take part in this event boosting the appearance rates of the members of the Eevee family who appear on a given island. There were no new Pokémon introduced in this event, however two Pokémon became available for the first time in the wild, Flareon and Leafeon. After this event the encounter pool for Greengrass Isle was updated to permanently include Leafeon, whereas Taupe Hollow was updated to permanently incluide Flareon.

During this event researchers had a greater chance of encountering Eevee and it's evolutions during sleep research. There was also an increased chance of encountering Shiny Eevee during sleep research.

Reason: Unsure on the sleep style info for Flareon and Leafeon, or when the areas updated to include the remaining sleep styles from just one.

As mentioned previously, Flareon and Leafeon became available to encounter during sleep research during Eevee Week for the first time, initially only one sleep style was released for each Pokémon, however after the event concluded, a further two of Leafeon's sleep styles and Flareon's remaining three sleep styles were released. Leafeon's final sleep style was released with the introduction of Lapis Lakeside. Following this event, Leafeon became a permanent addition to Greengrass Isle, and Flareon was permanently added to Taupe Hollow.

Increased encounter chance

During this event, Eevee's had both a much greater chance of being encountered as well as an increased chance of being Shiny. Other Eeveelution evolutionary relatives benefited from a greater encounter chance, without a boost to the chance of them being Shiny.
