Turffield Stadium (Japanese: ターフスタジアム Turf Stadium) is the official Gym of Turffield. The Gym specializes in Grass-type Pokémon. During the Gym Challenge, Gym Challengers battle the Gym Leader Milo to earn the Grass Badge.

In the core series games

Turffield Stadium is the largest building in the town and is the site at which the first installment in the Galar region's Gym Challenge takes place. It is located at the northernmost part of the town. Like most Stadiums in the region, the Turffield Stadium contains a Poké Mart and a uniform shop.

Gym Challenge

Gym mission

In the Gym mission, the player has to herd a flock of 20 Wooloo to mats in front of straw bale blockades. The Wooloo roll away from the player as they approach them. There are a total of four sections, in each of which the player must herd all 20 Wooloo to the mat at the end of that section before they can progress to the next one. In all sections except the first, there is a Yamper (two in the final section) that also pushes the Wooloo around, obstructing the player; if the player defeats a Gym Trainer, the Yamper in the same section stand idle next to the Gym Trainer for the rest of the Gym mission.

The player can withdraw from the Gym mission at any time by returning to the entrance. If the player loses a battle or withdraws, the mission is reset; however, defeated Gym Trainers cannot be battled again and their corresponding Yamper is permanently idle. Once the player has completed the Gym mission, even if they leave or lose, they can still proceed straight to the Gym battle.

The player cannot use Pokémon Camp, Pokémon Box Link, or VS during the Gym mission or in the hallway before the Gym battle.

Sword & Shield arc

Turffield Stadium first appeared in Chomp!! Defeat Drednaw, where Milo was informed of two Trainers who had been endorsed by Leon.

In Watch Out!! Strong Rivals, Henry, Casey, Hop, Bede, and Marnie arrived at the stadium to compete for the Grass Badge. Henry was the first one to challenge Milo, eventually emerging victorious with the help of his Gurdurr and Sirfetch'd. The others battled Milo afterwards and won as well, allowing all of them to move on to Hulbury.
