Team Star Grunts in Pokémon Adventures

Team Star Grunts debuted in the PASV03. At West Province (Area One), two Grunts attempted to recruit Penny into their ranks despite her repeated refusal. Overhearing the commotion, Violet stepped in to defend Penny, forcing the Grunts to retaliate by facing Violet in battle. Though the Grunts had the advantage in numbers, their Pokémon were eventually defeated by Violet's Fuecoco. The Grunts then fled, promising to inform their boss of what happened.
