Risa Shimizu

Risa Shimizu (Japanese: 清水理沙 Shimizu Risa) is a Japanese voice actress for Pokémon the Series.

Biography

Shimizu was born on September 9, 1988, in Kanagawa, Japan, and became a voice actress as an adult. She started her work in the animated series during Pokémon the Series: XY, where she voiced Charlene, the apprentice of Olympia. However, her best known roles were Alola's Nurse Joys, Lana's Brionne and Primarina, and several recurring wild Pokémon, all of whom appeared in Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. She continued to voice various characters and Pokémon in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, most notably Officer Jenny and Goh's Beedrill. Shimizu is currently affiliated with the talent group Aksent.
