The Pokémon Baccer World Cup (Japanese: ポケモンバッカーワールドカップ Pokémon Baccer World Cup) is a sporting event introduced in Zoroark: Master of Illusions. The most current one was held in Crown City.

Rules

Pokémon Baccer is a game played on a circular shaped pitch, which has two slopes (colored red and blue) placed across it. The object of the game is for either of the two teams of three Pokémon to try to knock a spinning-top shaped object into a pyramid that is floating around the stadium. For every goal that is scored, one point is awarded to the team, and the highest-scoring team when the time runs out wins the match. All of the teams are three-stage evolutionary lines which have a member in each evolutionary stage, except the Nimbasa Legends, which, although it was a fraud, were also related to each other as the Legendary beasts.

Known teams

Coronet Fighters

The Coronet Fighters fan club

A team that specializes in Magnemite and its evolved forms. The team's Pokémon theme and name come from Mount Coronet, which bears the special magnetic field that allows Magneton to evolve into Magnezone. Several fans, such as Peg, are seen in the film, and they have a special fight song and logo. In the credits, they play against a team without a known name that features the Shinx evolutionary line.
