Phil the Photo Guy (Japanese: カメラおやじ Old Man Camera) is a non-player character in Pokémon X and Y. He takes pictures of the player at various locations in Kalos.
In the core series games
When the player interacts with a Photo Spot, they can call Phil the Photo Guy to take a picture of them in the area. Once a photo is taken, it is saved on the SD card of the player's Nintendo 3DS system, and it can also be sent to the Pokémon Global Link via Game Sync. Phil the Photo Guy can also show the player photos that have previously been taken.
