Once during your turn, when this Pokémon moves from the Active Spot to the Bench, you may search your deck for a Palafin ex and switch it with this Pokémon. Any attached cards, damage counters, Special Conditions, turns in play, and any other effects remain on the new Pokémon. If you switched a Pokémon in this way, put this card into your deck. Then, shuffle your deck.

Release information

This card was included in the Twilight Masquerade expansion, first released in the Japanese Transformation Mask expansion. In Japan, it is reprinted in the Terastal Fest ex subset.

A Cosmos Holofoil version was included in the Palafin ex Box, released on June 21, 2024.

Rulings

The ruling of Zero to Hero clarifies that only this Palafin card is shuffled into the deck, with the Palafin ex card being put on top of the Finizen it likely evolved from.[1]

Trivia

Origin

This card features Palafin's Zero Form. Zero to Hero is Palafin's signature Ability in the Pokémon games. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Violet.
