Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Supervisor, Supply Management
Poznan, Poland
Your role is to manage supply management planners staff for our Regional Aftermarket Procurement division, ensuring that processes and strategies are in place to execute the schedule agreements and purchase orders according to the materials plan, expediting material from suppliers in case of back orders and lead tactical activities to recover delinquent suppliers. Working with hundreds of different suppliers mostly located in Europe - but also overseas - this position has a critical responsibility to manage the order fulfillment process to guarantee that service parts are delivered on time and in full to our E-PDC (European Parts Distribution Center) so that we keep our customers running.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring order fulfillment activities are properly executed.
- Monitor, review, and highlight any gaps in the performance of suppliers to ensure delivery improvements
- Kep tight control to our On Time Delivery goal
- Work with suppliers to expedite material and close Back Orders (orders placed by our dealers to our distribution centers for a material not available in our stock) in the smallest cycle time possible
- Ensure team responds to the demand for information from other departments by monitoring the execution of Pdate (Promise Date) when material is in back order
- Negotiate with suppliers increases in volumes and short lead orders
- Negotiate with suppliers reduction in volumes for firm orders
- Visit suppliers when necessary
Our requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Polish
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in working with SAP
- Customer oriented
- Background in Supply Management, Logistics, Order Fulfillment or Customer Support
- MS-Office (advanced in Excel)
- Education in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management correlated areas
- Leadership and team player attitude
- Metric driven person

- Previous leadership roles
