WHO WE NEED:
We're currently looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Analyst to join our growing team and help oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of our sales processes and strategies. As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing our revenue operations processes and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our sales pipeline management. This role requires a deep understanding of revenue operations functions, particularly within the context of Salesforce, and a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around opportunity hygiene, data analysis, reporting, and Salesforce support and sales process improvement initiatives to maximize revenue generation.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, STEM or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar role within a technology or software company preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including advanced understanding of opportunity management and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from datasets
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both IT and Sales teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Opportunity Hygiene Ownership:

  • Take ownership of the opportunity management process in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information at all stages of the sales pipeline
  • Regularly monitor and maintain data integrity, opportunity type, stages, attribution, and close dates
  • Work closely with the sales team to enforce data hygiene best practices, provide training when necessary, and resolve any data inconsistencies or issues


Salesforce Support:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, providing guidance and support to the sales team on system usage, best practices, and data management
  • Assist with user onboarding, training, and ongoing system maintenance, including managing user roles, permissions, and access levels
  • Collaborate with the IT team and Salesforce administrators to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and drive system integrations


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, revenue trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and make data-driven recommendations to optimize revenue operations
  • Create and deliver regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership


Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, customer success, and other cross-functional teams to align processes and ensure smooth handoffs and transitions between departments
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement system enhancements or Salesforce customizations to improve overall sales effectiveness


Commission Plan Execution

  • Collaborate with the finance and operations team to administer commissions for the sales team including tracking results, calculating rates and communicating results
