We're optimizing Medicare through greater choice and clarity while minimizing cost and complexity.
The Role
Why We Exist

Every morning, 11,000 Americans wake up and begin their first day of retirement. While retirement should be an exciting, empowering, and fulfilling part of one’s life, the reality today is that retirement brings along with it a fundamentally new set of challenges that make it an overwhelming time for many.
At Chapter, we believe that the current infrastructure for retirement is broken, and we’re on a mission to fix it. We’ve started by building industry leading technology to solve the first major obstacle in retirement: navigating Medicare (healthcare coverage for retirees over 65). Our products help seniors sign up, choose an insurance plan, and leverage their plan after they are enrolled. And, unlike most Medicare advisors who only search plans that pay them, Chapter searches every Medicare option nationwide. This allows us to find savings and benefits that others miss.
But our ambition doesn’t stop with Medicare — we seek to transform the way that Americans navigate and experience retirement. If this sounds exciting to you, we’d love to speak with you.

What We Do

Every morning, 10,000 Americans wake up and begin their first day of retirement. Chapter is re-inventing the way that Americans transition into retirement, starting with Medicare. We are re-authoring the retirement narrative by enabling Americans to age with purpose and security and to define their best Chapter.

For most people, Medicare is boring, bureaucratic, and confusing. But it's tremendously important. The current Medicare brokerage market is rife with misaligned incentives and path dependence that have pernicious affects on retirees. Our team and technology help retirees to navigate Medicare, including when and how to sign up, what specific plans to choose, and how to maximize the benefits from their coverage.

Chapter has built industry-leading technology to help retirees save thousands of dollars on their healthcare. We are the only Medicare advisor (and perhaps the only insurance advisor of any industry) that recommends insurance plans that do not pay us.

We build both consumer-facing software that’s highly accessible to our members and internal-facing software that uses our data integration, data modeling, and recommendation engine to give our Medicare advisors super powers.

Why Work With Us

We are a small team solving big problems. At Chapter, you'll have a major influence on the company's success and grow with us as we build a company to serve a huge addressable market. You'll also have the satisfaction of working on something that's improving the way retiring Americans engage with the government and the healthcare system.
