Main Responsabilities

• As a Business Analyst, Cost Accounting for John Deere located in Monterrey, Saltillo, or Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, you will be responsible for leading the cost accounting processes at Industrias John Deere specifically for site Monterrey. In this position you will:
• Complete monthly cost cycle activities including new part costing, part audits, and error resolution.
• Prepare Material Variance, Production Variance, and Cost Management System (CMS) reporting with subsequent communication to stakeholders of financial impacts.
• Complete annual cost cycle activities by establishing a project plan for cross-functional participants, aggregating inputs, analyzing, auditing & resolving errors, and reporting impacts to unit stakeholders.
• Partner with your Cost Analyst peers from Saltillo and Ramos to integrate IJD into Cost Shared Services.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement for cost accounting processes through team & individual pursuits.

What Skills You Need

• Experience collaborating with multiple functions in an effective team environment including ability to influence without authority
• Demonstrated ability as a "self-starter" to initiate independent work while managing multiple assignments
• Demonstrated analytical capabilities and attention to detail
• 3 or more years of experience in an Accounting/Finance role
• Ability to travel up to 10%

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with product costing, engineering change management, new product development, or cost management tracking
• Proficiency using Power BI and other data analytic tools

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
