The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves working with ETL tools like Fivetran, Stitch, and Portable, utilizing Snowflake as our data warehouse, organizing and scheduling jobs with dbt, handling event tracking with Snowplow, and leveraging Metabase for business intelligence.

In this job you will...

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Fivetran, Stitch, and Portable.
  • Manage and optimize our Snowflake data warehouse to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Use dbt to organize, document, and schedule data transformation jobs.
  • Create and maintain data models for analytics
  • Implement and maintain event tracking with Snowplow to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across different data sources and systems.
  • Continuously improve and automate existing data processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

You must have...

  • 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with ETL tools such as Fivetran, Stitch, and Portable.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Proficiency using dbt for data transformation and orchestration.
  • Experience with event tracking systems like Snowplow.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools such as Metabase.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Share our values, AKA a willingness to show up, grow up, and do good.

It'd be nice if you...

  • Have familiarity with Python or another scripting language
  • Reside permanently and currently in Lincoln, NE or the surrounding metro area. Sorry, we're not hiring outside the US at this time even if you're willing to work during US time zones.

Compensation:

Compensation: This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our salary range is $100,000-$120,000 and is based on experience.  We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
