Modelni organizmi

Za testiranje funkcije gena RBM47 proučvani su i modelni organizmi uvjetne linije nokaut-miševa Rbm47tm1a(EUCOMM)Wtsi za određivanje posljedica mogućih delecija. Generirani su u Institutu Wellcome Trust Sanger. Međutim, ni nakon duboke imunofenotipizacije nije nađena bilo kakva nenormalnost.[7][8][9][10][11]
