Sunrise on the Moon
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
On the moon, consecutive sunrises and sunsets occur approximately 29 1/2 days apart. For as long as Maria has lived in the Lunar Colonies, she's never failed in her tradition to watch the sunrises from the station's viewing platform. As she's waiting for her tram to arrive, however, she encounters a curious young woman that piques her interest. For once, Maria feels compelled to engage in a friendly conversation.
Maria
Maria is a strong-willed and hard-headed woman with many years and experiences under her belt. She's also perhaps a bit too intelligent for her own good, as she often has difficultly not letting her pedantic nature take over.
She jokes about her own age, but doesn't take kindly to others doing the same.
As per tradition, she plans to head to the viewing platform to watch the sunrise.
Aeda
Though ever-friendly, she also seems a bit airheaded.

Yeah, well, this is phenomenal.
The writing is scaringly good. There are so many layers of excellence here, while I had originally intended to list them, I realized that I would need to turn it into an essay. It just has to be experienced.
We need laws to ban works this great, lest more people will die from being so in awe they will forget to breathe.

This game is so unbelievably good! Easily the best VN I've played on Itch so far! It's been on my list for sometime and I'm glad I finally got to play it.
This one's going on my favorites list. I'm looking forward to checking out your other stuff!

I love the thought that went into all of the endings. Many VNs I've seen just add alternate endings for the sake of having them. These endings and the choices leading to them all felt really meaningful. And I like the fact that players are likely to get the "bad" endings first. It makes the true ending more impactful.

This was my first 'big' (for me!) passion project, and I'm hoping to do more games in this sort of setting, including a NanoRenO project next month!
And this game definitely intended to sort of lead the player to the 'bad' ends first just based on what you would think would be the expected 'correct' choices. I've always been worried it's a bit obtuse, though! Especially getting Ending A.
It might be a bit hard for some to figure out how to get the good ending, but I think it's pretty standard to have to look up an ending guide for VNs anyway. I was able to get endings D, C and A with no problem though. I only had to use the guide for ending B (which was surprisingly creepy btw).

amazing visual novel :) if our world had such androids for family lot of them would probably follow the c ending.
