Rounding up a great week in Cannes with a total of 26 accolades. 💥 💥 💥 Spanning Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the Young Director Award, we've collected 1 Grand Prix, 6 Golds, 3 Silvers, 5 Bronze and an additional 11 Shortlists, across the Stink network worldwide. This also includes the YDA Gold Producers Award, assigned to Stink for its commitment to supporting emerging talent. While the EU Parliamentary elections take place, we continue to see the rise of hatred and the politics of fear around the world. During the biggest electoral year in history, it has never been more timely to consider our relationship with freedom of speech. To shine a light on this, rising star director Giordano Maestrelli, created 'The First Speech' in collaboration with INNOCEAN, Stink Berlin, and Reporters Without Borders (RSF). Today, on International Women’s Day, we’re releasing Geej Ower’s award-winning short ‘Five Weeks’, a poignant portrayal of the challenges faced by new mothers. Using long takes, close angles and immersive sound, we see the usually mundane task of grocery shopping transformed into a scene from a horror movie of the protagonist’s own making.
