At the DCD Connect Cancún 2024, Scala Data Centers took center stage once again with Franciele Nogueira Ferreira Rosa, our Design Engineering Director, moderating the debate “Breaking Barriers: the truth about Liquid Cooling and Direct-to-Chip Cooling.” As #AI applications push the boundaries of computing power, liquid cooling and direct-to-chip cooling have emerged as key solutions for tackling the challenges of overheating and improving energy #efficiency. The debate focused on how these advanced cooling techniques not only enhance data center performance but also reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact, which aligns perfectly with Scala's commitment to sustainability. “One of the key strengths Scala has demonstrated in implementing cooling systems for high-density data centers is its ability to customize solutions to meet the specific needs of each client. As a colocation provider, we focus on adapting to the unique technical and operational requirements provided by our clients, ensuring that every cooling and electrical solution is perfectly suited to their infrastructure. In addition, Scala has excelled in designing hybrid solutions that efficiently manage both high-density racks and network racks with lower demand, allowing seamless scalability and energy efficiency without compromising performance," Franciele shared during the discussion. In line with these advanced cooling innovations, Scala is already implementing cutting-edge solutions at Scala AI City, our visionary project in southern Brazil. Designed to support up to 4.75 GW of AI and high-performance computing workloads, Scala AI City combines next-generation cooling technologies, like liquid cooling, with a robust commitment to #sustainability. This site is a prime example of how we are addressing the growing demand for AI #infrastructure while ensuring energy efficiency and environmental responsibility remain at the core of our operations. We’re proud to be at the forefront of revolutionizing the digital infrastructure market, and we will continue #EnablingTheFuture. Stay tuned for even more innovation as we work together to shape a sustainable and transformative industry! 🚀 DatacenterDynamics | DatacenterDynamics (Español y Portugués) #ProudToBeScala #DCDConnect
