Our female engineers are at the forefront, driving the innovation and technology that power our products. That is why we embrace the International Women in Engineering Day and its theme this year, #EnhancedByEngineering. In 2024, the World Environment Day has a special meaning for us. This year, ACIM, the Nidec Corporation’s business unit we are part of, has set the goal to achieve carbon neutrality in its operations by 2030, a commitment that is ours as well, involving our 12 factories around the world. Being a carbon-neutral company means that the total carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions emitted by the company's operations are balanced by an equivalent amount of CO2 being removed from the atmosphere. This is achieved by reducing emissions and offsetting those remaining. It is part of our daily routine to actively reduce our carbon footprint by improving energy efficiency and we are counting on efforts from many areas, which are connected in this quest.  From now on, with a clear goal to be achieved, our journey towards sustainability enters a new pace. #NidecGA #Sustainability #SustainableSolutions #SustainableFuture

Once again we are present at Appliances and Electronics World Expo (AWE), Asia's largest home appliances and electronics trade fair, from March 14 to 17. We are showcasing a selection of our solutions for residential and commercial appliances, such as compressors for refrigeration, motors for washing machines, dryers and dishwashers, and electronic components. Being at AWE is an excellent opportunity to meet our customers, talk about our products and reinforce our commitment to the Chinese market, where we will soon be inaugurating a new campus, in Qingdao. #NidecGlobalAppliance #Embraco #awe2024

On International Women’s Day we celebrate all the women in our teams and commit to #InspireInclusion, a global movement from internationalwomensday.com. It can be done in a lot of ways, by everyone. We invited Samantha Jaqueline Saavedra, from our compressors and Condensing Units plant, in Mexico, to represent all of our women on this day.
