Breaking tasks into smaller parts is often more efficient than tackling them all at once. DANOBAT, a Basque OEM specializing in custom machines, embraces this approach. Instead of designing each machine from the ground up, the company relies on 90% stock modules, customizing the remaining 10% to meet specific needs across industries like aerospace and energy. Earlier this year, Associate Editor Evan Doran visited Danobat’s campus just outside Elgoibar. He witnessed the company’s newly renovated facilities and observed how they’ve reorganized their production floors to align with their modular approach.
