Publisher Description
New York Times bestselling authors Sabrina Jeffries, Karen Hawkins, and Candace Camp, and USA TODAY bestselling author Meredith Duran come together for a sizzling historical romance holiday anthology.
Stunned by the heat of an unexpected kiss on a cold winter’s eve, two strangers from vastly different worlds turn hotheaded principles into burning passion in Sabrina Jeffries’s delightful yuletide story, The Heiress and the Hothead. In the snowy Scottish countryside, Karen Hawkins’s rakish duke has an unforgettable holiday encounter in Twelve Kisses when the alluring lady he surprises under the mistletoe is not who he expected, but a long-lost love with a score to settle. In By Any Other Name, Edinburgh is aglitter for Christmastime as Candace Camp sends a curious gentleman in hot pursuit of an intriguing lady in disguise—one who refuses to reveal her true identity, though she fears he has already stolen her heart with his kiss. In Sweetest Regret, will the festive spirit of the season sweep Meredith Duran’s feisty heroine beneath the mistletoe—and back into the arms of the dashing rogue whose carelessness soiled her reputation and sent her into exile in London?
In this all-new story collection sparkling with sexy charm and heartwarming wit, four beloved bestselling authors reveal the mix-ups and make-ups, the missed chances and golden opportunities that come but once a year.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Kisses under the mistletoe are the theme of four novellas taking place between 1807 and 1885. Camp (Pleasured) delivers the standout story, "By Any Other Name," a cross-dressing romp about a girl seeking her lost brother in the gaming hells of Edinburgh. Duran (Luck Be a Lady) goes the gently pleasant route with "Sweet Ruin," about lovers kept apart by a scheming father. Unfortunately, Hawkins (The Prince and I) burdens "Twelve Kisses" with an unconvincing prince, hampering the story further with the hero's extremely thick Scots dialect. Jeffries (A Hellion in Her Bed) never manages to give the impression that the lovers of "The Heiress and the Hothead" will successfully wrangle a marriage that requires one of them to move to the other's continent. These stories provide a reasonable helping of holiday-season cheer.

This was a fun Christmas romance. I'm thrilled that it is a novella Sinful Suitors series. I liked Amanda's character right away in the first book The Art of Sinning and hoped she'd get her HEA. Steven was the perfect hero for this unconventional heroin.

A second chance at love. When two people meet under the mistletoe theres scandal, a snowstorm, scared horses and passion that never ended. Can they work through what took them apart or will pride and hurt feeling get in the way?
There was really nothing missing from the short story that left you wanting more. Except now I need to find out what happens with the Prince.

I enjoyed this story very much. Stephen and Rylla were great characters. They had wonderful dialogue with fun and improper activities. I need to read more of this series.

Another second chance at love and I loved everything about this story. Torn apart unknowingly Georgie and Lucas find themselves back in the same room. Thrown together with a mission from her father. Both angry with each other that is until they start listening to one and other. I hope this is a series.
Great Holiday Read!
A wonderful Regency Christmas anthology from some the best in the business. Each story tells the story of a couple who are united or re-united under the mistletoe. However, each story stands along and maintains the author’s normal style and voice. Sabrina Jeffries creates a fun mistaken identity turned clash of wills tale, which also gives a bit of social commentary about the treatment of mill workers during the era. Karen Hawkins gives a more Duchess Tasha in an old lover’s story, my personal favorite of the anthology. Candace Camp treats the readers to classic heroine dressing as a man mix up and pursuit. Meredith Duran brings to lovers back together to discover they were cruelly parted but that their love has not waned. Curl up with some hot cocoa and snuggly blanket, you won’t want to put this holiday treat down!!
4 Stories from the Best in the Biz
I received an ARC of this book and I feel eminently lucky. This book contains stories from (4) of the genre's best authors. What I loved about these stories is that they are tied to other series currently being written by each author. If you're already reading these series, it give you a little peak into other side characters you may have wondered about and even glimpses of the characters of future books.
With most anthology's, I always want just a little bit more, but that's probably due to the skill of the writer. I never really want to say goodbye and it always leaves me wanting the next story, which hopefully is just around the corner for each of these wonderful authors.
I highly recommend this book. Plan a bubble bath evening, with a drink, some sweets and these stories to keep you company. You won't be sorry.
