The other thing I loathe with a burning passion are barnacles.

I have a personal vendetta against those things! They way they look and how they work is HORRIBLE.

When I was little I went tubing (or maybe it was kayaking) and the river I was on had freshwater barnacles in them or something. I slipped on some of the rocks while wading around and caught myself with my hands down into a cluster of the things. One or two had to have been open or something cause I had a tiny eraser head sized chunk of my palm cut off when it closed. Like the worlds worst human hole punch! It rubbed me so wrong, much more than it probably needed to, and now I get this unchecked anger towards them whenever I catch a glimpse of one.

I have started to get back into collecting physical media like CD’s and DVD’s. I don’t just buy them online or new, though. I like going to thrift stores and seeing what is there. Finding an old CD I used to own and have long lost feels way better when it’s by chance in a second hand store!

I really want to find a Panasonic DVD/CD player for my growing collection too. I’m taking a few steps back into the times of my childhood with this and it feels right.

I’m a licensed funeral director and have seen MANY a fucked up thing in my time of doing this job. Some of them being the condition of those long gone. But some of the worst things I’ve had to endure come from the living.

This isn’t a job you can be weak in. You’re peoples guide and you’re own at the same time. It’s a thankless job most of the time, but when you are thanked you can feel the appreciation and how much they mean it.

There are two things I despise the most in life. One of those things is pears. I hate them. It feels like I’m chewing watered down sand and the skin reminds me of shark skin! Like if I ran my tongue across the back of one of those sharks in the touch pool at the aquarium. I remember having to chew that as much as I usually had to chew raw celery as a kid. It’s such an unpleasant thing to bite down into…

I sometimes have a messed-up mix between sleep paralysis and bouts of sleep walking. I’ll wake up in the middle of the night or early morning and see people in my room. Sometimes far away, other times right next to the edge of my bed. I can still move and talk, so I usually scold them for waking me up, swat at them, or tell them to fuck off. It works most of the time!

Other times, I will feel things touching or grabbing me, and on multiple occasions I have grabbed up my cat (who sleeps at the foot of my bed) to keep him safe. He doesn’t usually appreciate that…

It gets bad in the winter time more so than the spring or summer. However, I’ve become used to it at this point.
