Machinations of Amirus
The gears of the galaxy turn. Power always coalesces in a vacuum, even in the vast reaches of space. Long ago, that void was filled by noble Houses: fiefdoms whose reach spanned planets. And so it remains now. Sometimes, they simply coexist, ruling over their domains. Often, however, their reach exceeds their grasp, and they clash to deadly effect.
Houses rise and fall with the tides of intrigue and war. Their titanic Frames, humanoid monstrosities of metal, tower over battlefields, their duels changing the course of history. And anyone caught in their struggles, be they bystanders, participants, or dissidents, will be undone in time.
This is the chronicle of the Amirus incident. A struggle over one tiny planet carved the names of eight people into history. But there were nine people who were worthy of recognition in that struggle, not eight.
In this tale of the machinations of court and Frame, you will take the role of that that unsung agent of a noble House.
This is the jam version of an upcoming VN, comprising an extremely rough version of Act 1. 2 and 3 will be out when they're done (and will probably be paid).
Narrat Jam 2 themes:
- Decay (not quite yet in act 1, but you'll get a glimpse of it in the ending)
Diversifiers:
- Grey Writing
- Breaking the System (debatable, but I'm at least stretching it)
- Who put politics in my game?
- Ultra Replayable
- History ( in the sense of Who put politics in my game?)
- Endings
- “The bourgeois are not human”
