"Energy per second" improvement shows the same cost for x1 and x10 (but do change color of the digits when not affordable), although in fact everything is in order, it is the display problem. ("Per AutoClick" and "Multiplier" seems OK).

Edit: it get fixed now that x10 cost more than 1 mil.

Edit 2: On the sword for 50 K it was written “Coming soon”, but this turned out to be a lie: the money was spent, the attack increased.

thank you for noticing these issues!

I started the game earlier and just got to the end of the current story. Clicking a few extra pages gave a request to join the Discord, but the link has expired.

I guess it might be an idea to lock further pages from advancement until the story has been written. I have just used a load of swift potions and got to what seems to be the end of the story. I guess that I may have ruined my game now by clicking my way to an empty end.

I also think that there should be consistancy with the numbering.

My shop and town costs show the full number.

Auto and per/sec energy as well as attack costs are in k.

Energy multiplier, Gold/s and Defense and Health costs are in mil.

I think all numbers should progress from basic to k to mil and beyond.

And a new discord link would be good ;)

Thank you so much for this feedback! I will make sure the discord link is working, people have been joining so I didn't think to check. Don't worry about seeing any pictures or spoiling any story, all the extra pictures are placeholders! As far as ruining your game, this next update changes the game to the point that I usually have a note on update: NOTE: highly recommended that you 'reset' your game for balance changes to take effect (stuff like that).

Fridays update will be no different in that I will highly recommend you 'reset' your game for all the new changes to be implemented. Once I get somewhere closer to the 1.0.0 release ( possibly sooner) it wont be necessary to 'reset' every update.

Consistent numbering: Absolutely agree and this will all be aligned in the update on Friday.

Is there any way to save progress? No matter how much I play, every time I reopen the game or refresh the page I am at page 47 in the story and the picture of the Voidweaver. It is, of course, possible that the Voidweaver's skill is similar to the big alien thing in Edge of Tomorrow, but I assume that there is a more technical reason.

The game saves everything to Local Storage, and should save your page every time you advance to a new one.

In your original comment you made it to way past the end, did you come back to the game after that, and you were stuck on Voidweaver?

Or you reset the game, got that far again and got stuck?

What browser are you using?

I am unable to replicate this bug atm, I appreciate your help.

I use Edge , but my PC is a bit of a dinosaur. All devs on itch seem to be full of questions for me about how games react on my PC. It seems to be a sort of Twilight Zone machine that does things that other PCs don't.

I left the game running for a few hours while I went to work with an autoclicker levelling up the Energy multiplier. When I tried to play the game after that I had ridiculous slowdown. So much so that I had to close the browser, which didn't happen. So I opened Task Manager which took another 10 minutes to open and even once Edge was closed it took another 10 minutes for my PC to be operating properly.

I tried again today and had the same issue,  leaving the game running for less time but doing the same thing. Both times I restarted on Voidweaver.

Finally, earlier I played again and this time just clicked manually through to the end of the game and when I restarted, I was at the Deer.

I have just reopened the game as I write this message and the game is at the deer again, but my stats seem to be the same. Unfortunately my lumber is at NaN, which seems a bit odd as I only earned 342k while idle, so infinity must be rather low on your game. Also, I am no longer earning gold or food from battles. All fights are only giving me items.

The tooltip for Lumber says that the price will increase by 25G each purchase. It

doesn't. The price is always 100G.

I also think that Swift Potions are way too OP. Getting items is easy, so getting free pages is easy. Halve price pages may be better for swift potions, unless your intention is to make it easy for anyone to get to the end of the story very quickly.

Max Soldiers is 8. Well, you can buy more but the stats don't increase, though your population is lowered.

I just clicked through to page 300 and refreshed the game. The pictures are before and after the refresh.

Though I am earning gold and food again, but my lumber is still at NaN.

I really appreciate you taking the time to write this out! And the screenshots help tremendously. I will be referring back to this post as I fix these issues.

My first guess is that my game saves local storage more often than your pc can store the info, totally just a guess but I need to optimize this better.

you know, patron knows way too much about incident.. the way they talk is like they watched everything in very close distance. I seriously doubt if that dude is just normal patron.

you might be on to something...

alchemy is good, but kinda lame. I mean, I have to make potion manually. it would be much better if there is 'craft x10' toggle or right mouse button on potion to make that potion instantly.

I have just published an update implementing the ‘right mouse button click on potion’ to craft the potion, and a few other changes, thank you for this!

At Soldiers 4 (and other upgrades) my attack shows 15 but the damage is 30. Attack shown dropped from 24 to 15 at that point.

Also getting more soldiers doesn't seem to do anything.

I have just published an update which takes care of this issue and a few others, thank you for this feedback!

In many places text either cut or goes beyond it's intended region.

Thank you for this, absolutely an issue that needs addressing.

I was preparing for the next monster to be able to break through my defenses, but this never happened. As a result, the attack and health parameters lose all meaning, and therefore the development of settlement. Nevertheless, I was interested in doing all this.

Thank you so much for playing! Balance & QoL features will be in the next update on Friday, heavy focus on the battling.

Thanks for the update! Thanks to the fixed price for store-bought potions, I was able to use them until the end of the current version of the game. At the same time, it is funny to see one monster and fight another at the same time. I believe this is the author's intention. An idea for achievement: completing the entire game without slaying any monsters except cockroaches (and last boss).

Idle Legacy Gameplay

This is really cool, 'First YT Video' achievement unlocked!😁

I have never seen someone cover AI art with a mosaic filter to obscure the fact that it's being use in the first place.

( 1)(-2)

Yes it has created an aesthetic I am quite please with! I am using Nightcafe for the art and Pixelator, without these 2 the game would not be possible!

( 3)

Good game and interesting plot. I'm looking forward to the updates.

Thank you for playing!
