The main goals of the BHC were summarized during the presentation: - Profiling & promotion of the Belgian Hydrogen Industry - Acting as a spokesperson for Belgian hydrogen ecosystem equivalent to National H2 organisations in neighbouring countries - Advising our policy makers on roll-out of Regional & federal hydrogen strategies - Connecting existing industrial ecosystems on H2 in Flanders & Wallonia

Its aim is to increase the visibility and influence of women in the sector. They discussed how women can continue to drive change. 📌 One thing is clear: greater participation of women in the energy sector is not only important for reasons of gender equality. It also makes economic sense. Diversity leads to economic success, because diverse companies are more profitable, as studies and research show. So the business case is there. What matters now is to include more men in this discussion and find the right strategies that can help increase the participation of women in this sector. At FES Just Climate, we follow developments in gender participation in the energy sector very closely, as we share the belief that increasing women's participation in the energy industry will not only benefit individual companies, but also entire communities and societies. As part of the Belgian Council Presidency, Minister Tinne Van der Straeten invited leading industry representatives together with the DGs of the 27 national energy ministries of the Member States to Bruges yesterday, where we discussed the next steps in advancing sustainable #energy #infrastructure, facilitating the international #Hydrogen trade and delivering #offshore renewable energy to all.
