Waterleau welcomes new CEO, Jean-Luc Desire. After 14 years, Bart Goedseels decided to step down and leave the company to take on other challenges. Bart played a decisive role in the company’s growth, and we are grateful for his leadership and contributions. Jean-Luc Desire brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and a strong commitment to innovation. He will continue to drive the company forward, building on the strong foundation that has been established. Jean-Luc: “I am honored to join Waterleau as the new CEO. Check out these stunning aerial shots of one of our latest projects for a global brewery in #Africa! This is just one of five projects we're delivering for this brewery, spanning locations in Madagascar, Lubumbashi, Pointe Noire, Conakry, and Malawi. The scope covers a state-of-the-art WWTP, featuring pretreatment and buffering, a calamity tank, Biotim UASB, LUCAS 3 aerobic treatment, sludge management, chemical dosing, and biogas re-use. Our role? Delivering comprehensive water treatment solutions, including civil, mechanical, and electrical design, supply of materials, supervision of civil and electromechanical works, and managing commissioning and start-up. Some numbers to showcase the scale: - Flow capacity: 125 m³/h - COD load: 8,000 kg/day Mechanical construction is set to kick off in January 2025, with commissioning and start-up planned for May 2025.   A big shoutout to the team behind this success.
