Throwback to last weekend when our engineers completed their third bridge push of 2024, moving this huge section of viaduct deck across the M42/M6 link roads in Warwickshire. ☀️ Bouwverlof bij Victor Buyck Steel Construction! Bij Victor Buyck Steel Construction luiden we het bouwverlof in met een heerlijk pakje friet! 🍟 Iedereen, zowel in de bureau als op de werkplaats, kon aanschuiven en onder een stralend zonnetje genieten en terugblikken op een prachtig voorjaar. Victor Buyck is gesloten van 15 juli tot en met 2 augustus 2024. 🚀 Project Update 🚀 C’est en fin de semaine dernière que nous avons pu profiter d’une fenêtre météo favorable pour mettre en place le deuxième module d’une série de quatre. Ce dernier, d’un poids de 304 tonnes, et posé à 24 mètres de portée culmine désormais à 39 m. Victor Buyck mag meewerken aan de nieuwe Pater Sangersbrug! 🌉 Deze brug zal Maaseik met de Nederlandse provincie Limburg verbinden en wordt een toonbeeld van duurzame en moderne infrastructuur. Met een lengte van bijna 200 meter en een breedte van 20 meter zal de brug de verkeersveiligheid en capaciteit aanzienlijk verbeteren. Hats off to the incredible team behind the monumental accomplishment of moving the 158-meter-long 'East M42-M6 Link Viaduct' into place! This remarkable feat, completed in just 13 hours using a specialised push-pull jacking technique, is nothing short of awe-inspiring. As one of the key components of HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd Delta Junction, this viaduct not only promises to revolutionise transportation between #London, #Solihull, and #Birmingham but also showcases the remarkable talent we have. To see a project of this scale come to fruition, completed in just 13 hours using cutting-edge techniques is inspiring. Amazing teamwork and collaboration demonstrated by the team of 25 individuals from Victor Buyck Steel Construction working hand in hand with HS2's main works contractor Balfour Beatty VINCI. Their dedication and hard work certainly paid off with the operation completed a remarkable 10 hours ahead of schedule, minimising disruption for our local community.
