    Our Hungarian VGP team has officially handed over the premises at VGP Park Kecskemét to LINDE WIEMANN Group. The German automotive structural parts manufacturer leases 16,000 m2 for its production and storage activities. Specific technical solutions, high-quality sustainable features, and special design options have been provided to fit the needs of the tenant. VGP Park Kecskemét has a strategic location in the southern industrial area of Kecskemét, near the Mercedes factory, and also nearby other automotive suppliers.     Say hi to Miele Tehnica Romania at VGP Park Brașov. The tenant, a subsidiary of the German Miele Group, is expanding its production area by renting a 2,000 m2 facility in our park. The facility is going to be used to assemble motors and pumps for Miele appliances, including hoods and vacuum cleaners. VGP Park Brașov offers a very strategic location and state-of-the-art sustainable facilities, making it an ideal hub for logistics, production, and distribution.     Today VGP’s H1 results have been published: very pleased to report a record of € 28.8 million of new lease agreements contracted, 47% versus H1 ’23 resulting in a pre-tax profit of € 154.6 million ( 218% YoY). VGP has signed and renewed in total € 45.6 million of lease agreements, bringing the total committed annualised rental income to € 384.7 million. Our total landbank today stands at 8.5 million m2, providing great development opportunities at prime locations spread over Europe, and an impressive total of 835,000 m2 is currently under construction through 34 projects. On top of this, VGP can report net cash proceeds of € 662.1 million as a result of closings with the Deka Immobilien and Areim Joint Ventures and the disposal of LPM.     VGP Serbia has a great update to share: Delhaize Serbia has opened its distribution centre in VGP Park Belgrade. The large retail company leases 42,000 m2 for its modern logistics centre to even better supply their supermarkets in the country. Innovative infrastructure and technical solutions, enabled by VGP’s in-house technical expertise, have been provided to support the tenant’s growth and modernisation. The building processes and distributes more than 2,600 different products, for which a shelf capacity of over 35,000 pallet spaces is provided. An integral part of the new distribution centre, 5,000 m2, is the most modern plant for ripening bananas. High-quality sustainable features are foreseen, with solar systems, chargers for electric cars, a state-of-the-art battery charging station and a water efficient automated truck wash amongst others, resulting in the BREEAM Excellent certification. VGP Park Belgrade has a very strategic location near the Serbian capital and only 4 km from the international airport. The park will have a total area of existing and planned buildings exceeding 450,000 m2, on an impressive land plot of 1,140,000 m2, making it the largest business park in Serbia.     It is a pleasure to announce the signing of the third and final closing for our 50:50 RED Joint Venture with Deka Immobilien, one of the largest real estate investment companies in Europe. The transaction includes a logistics building in VGP Park Magdeburg and consists of 103.5 million euros of gross asset value, resulting in 68 million euros of net cash proceeds for VGP. The building is completely leased out to Rhenus, the internationally active logistics company. This closing marks the completion of a pre-agreed series of three transactions, totaling 20 completed buildings and a total lettable area of 859,000 m2, consisting of a gross asset value of 1.1 billion euros.
