De gemeenteraad heeft het ‘Masterplan Hof van Kabbeek’ goedgekeurd. Met dit plan wordt een eerste stap gezet naar een toekomstige invulling voor de huidige ziekenhuissite in het hartje van de stad. De stad nam bewust de regierol van dit project in handen om een kwaliteitsvolle invulling van dit gebied te garanderen. Het is een unieke kans om in het stadscentrum een verkeersluwe, groene omgeving te creëren met een mix aan functies, zonder hierbij het historisch erfgoed uit het oog te verliezen. Habiter demain : les 3 groupements de MOE sélectionnés pour le dialogue compétitif ont visité le quartier de l’Union en présence de la Métropole Européenne de Lille (MEL), de la Ville de Roubaix, de Lille Métropole Habitat (futur propriétaire), d'OBRAS architectes (urbaniste en chef de l’Union) et Ville Renouvelée (aménageur). 🏗️ 🏢 Cette démarche s’inscrit dans le cadre de la réflexion initiée par la Métropole Européenne de Lille (MEL) sur l’habitat collectif innovant (HCI).
