🎉 Alweer een #mijlpaal binnen VDL Belgium, en wat voor één! 🎉   Deze ongelooflijke dag moeten we uiteraard vieren, want onze fantastische Nancy is maar liefst 40 jaar in dienst! 🌟   Als het gezicht van VDL Belgium heeft Nancy met haar vriendelijke glimlach  en warme gastvrijheid een blijvende indruk achtergelaten op iedereen die ons heeft bezocht. Ze is dan ook een ware rockster binnen VDL Groep.   Ook binnen onze muren zijn we allen trots om met ons Nancy te kunnen samenwerken. Het is dan ook aan haar bureau dat de meest #boeiende gesprekken plaatsvinden, waaruit we steeds verder geholpen worden om de dag tot een goed einde te brengen.   Gefeliciteerd, Nancy, met deze prachtige #mijlpaal! 🎉 Jouw inzet, toewijding en vriendelijkheid maken ons bedrijf een betere plek en we zijn ontzettend dankbaar voor al je harde werk gedurende de afgelopen 40 jaar.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   🎉 Another #milestone within VDL Belgium, and what a #milestone it is!   We have to celebrate this incredible day, of course, as our wonderful Nancy is celebrating a whopping 40 years of service! 🌟   As the face of VDL Belgium, Nancy has left a lasting impression on everyone who has visited us with her friendly smile and warm hospitality. She is therefore a true rock star within VDL Groep.   Likewise within our walls, we are all proud to work with our Nancy. It is at her desk, that the most fascinating conversations take place, from which we are always helped to complete the day in a positive way.   Congratulations, Nancy, on this wonderful #milestone! 🎉 Your commitment, dedication and kindness make our company a better place and we are incredibly grateful for all your hard work over the past 40 years.

Afgelopen week hadden we de eer om de mensen van Compaan te mogen verwelkomen. Zij hebben al meer dan 35 jaar de #missie om mensen met onderbenutte #talenten te activeren op de arbeidsmarkt. Dit doen ze op een duurzame manier door samen te werken met bedrijven en beleidsvoerders. Bij project #metaalmatch gaan ze mensen actief opleiden tot krachtige medewerkers in de #metaalsector. Als pionier in de sector, vinden we het bij VDL Belgium meer dan normaal om deze projecten volledig te steunen. Vanaf januari mogen we een team ontvangen voor een stageperiode van 6 weken. 💪 Met deze win/win situatie helpen wij mee aan meer #diversiteit en #inclusie binnen de sector om te bouwen aan een mooie #toekomst. 📈 _________________________________________________________________________________ Last week, we had the honor of welcoming the people of Compaan. For more than 35 years they have had the #mission to activate people with underexploited #potential in the labor market. They do this in a #sustainable way by working together with companies and policy makers. In project #metaalmatch, they will actively train people to become #powerful employees in the metal industry. As a #pioneer in the sector, we at VDL Belgium find it more than normal to fully support these projects. As of January, we may therefore welcome a team for a 6-week internship. 💪 With this win/win situation, we are helping to increase #inclusion and #diversity within the sector to build a bright #future. 📈

Met trots kondigen we aan dat VDL Belgium een #samenwerking is aangegaan met UGent Racing, een studententeam dat elektrische racewagens ontwerpt en bouwt. 🏎⚡ VDL Belgium zal UGent Racing voorzien van hoogwaardige buizen voor de assemblage van hun aankomende auto, die zal deelnemen aan de Formula Student Electric competitie. De buizen worden gebruikt om het chassis te bouwen, dat als basis dient voor de auto. VDL België zal ook haar expertise en ervaring op het gebied van #engineering en #productie met de studenten delen, om hen te helpen hun doelen te bereiken en nieuwe vaardigheden te leren. Deze samenwerking is een mooi voorbeeld van hoe VDL Groep #innovatie en #educatie in #wetenschap, #technologie en #gezondheid ondersteunt. We kijken ernaar uit om met het UGent Racing Team samen te werken en hun auto in actie te zien. The #tubes will be used to build the chassis, which serves as the base of the car. VDL Belgium will also share its expertise and experience in #engineering and #manufacturing with the students, helping them to achieve their goals and learn new skills. This collaboration is a great example of how VDL Groep supports #innovation and #education in #science, #technology and #health. Vandaag vieren we niet één, niet twee, maar wel drie zilveren jubilees bij VDL Belgium. 🥈 Deze drie boezemvrienden Pascal, Kris en Wesley komen reeds 25 jaar goedlachs naar het werk. Opgeteld goed voor 75 jaar aan expertise, kwaliteit, oog voor detail en nog steeds dezelfde motivatie als op dag één. Als dat niet de definitie is van #krachtdoorsamenwerking! Onvervangbaar is een woord dat hier zeker gebruikt mag worden. #Innoveren door te #investeren is meer dan alleen nieuwe machines aan te schaffen. Het zijn nog steeds onze mensen die zorgen voor het bedrijf dat hier vandaag staat. Als familiebedrijf steunt VDL Groep onze heren dan ook met een gepast geschenk. ⌚ 🎁 Bedankt mannen!
