🌏 Taking global public transport to new heights with China! 🌏 🚋 Two significant milestones in our mission to enhance public transport globally: We've signed agreements with the Chinese Urban Public Transport Association (CUPTA) and the Chinese Association of Metros (CAMET). 🤝 These partnerships will bolster UITP’s presence in China, facilitating greater collaboration between local operators and our global members. 🇨🇳 China's public transport infrastructure is advancing at an astounding rate. 🎨 Art and public transport unite! 🎨 📰 In our latest article, 'More public transport means more art for Europe’s largest transport infrastructure project', we highlight the incredible art integrated into the Grand Paris Express, a project which will see 68 new metro stations by 2030 - alongside an impressive integration of art and architecture. 🚇 At the newly opened Orly Airport metro station (Gare Aéroport d’Orly), Portuguese artist VHILS has created a stunning mural using blue-white ‘azulejos’—traditional Portuguese ceramic tiles.
