Today, we are thrilled to welcome Patricio Luzuriaga to the Trince team as our new Business Development Manager! Patricio brings a wealth of knowledge with his background in biotechnology and PhD studies in plant immunity and host-pathogen interactions. He has excelled in international technical sales, covering sectors such as nuclear medicine and biotech equipment. As a business developer, Patricio has driven growth in regions including BeLux, Scandinavia, Iberia, and LATAM. His unique blend of scientific expertise and commercial experience positions him perfectly to lead our business development efforts. At Trince, Patricio will primarily focus on the imaging applications of our technology. We are very honored to announce that we are nominated for the final at the prestigious Nature Magazine Spinoff Prize. This prize awards spinoff companies that translate innovative research in life sciences and physical sciences into practical solutions with a big social impact. Together with 3 other finalists, we will present our research, company, and social impact during the Future Insight e.V. Curious 2024 conference in Mainz, Germany on July 10th and 11th. What a week for our partner Trince in closing their new funding round in combating cancer! We're very proud to have been following them from the early days on. They couldn't deserve it any more. Trince (located very close to our Ghent based office, by the way) is working on a revolutionary technology with laser beams and nanotechnology to offer personalized cancer treatments to patients. An industry in which having state of the art lab devices is of the utmost importance. Clearly, world class technology is being made in the life science hub of the world in Stad Gent.
