The centre was inaugurated by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resource and Livestock of Zanzibar in the presence of the European Union (EU). Established by Trias in collaboration with TAHA during the implementation of the "Make It Grow" project under the Agri Connect Programme, funded by the EU, the PTC demonstrates Good Agricultural Practices and improved technologies to the community and agricultural value chain actors of Pemba. Our regional team from Trias Afrique de l'Ouest is currently having a team meeting and inclusion workshop in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso 💚 By doing so, we want to: 🎯 Familiarize country teams with the concepts of inclusion, diversity, and gender equality 🎯 Strengthen team members' capacities to use an inclusion toolkit to support the integration of gender dimensions into our programs 🎯 Create a space to raise awareness about the gender approach within country teams themselves to internalize our own strategy At the heart of the discussions on this first day, they explored the different facets of inclusion and its importance in their daily work. Lively discussions allowed them to deepen their understanding of issues related to inequalities and gender-based discrimination.
