Building Construction

Innovative circular economy & AI methodology for sustainable and high-energy performance buildings

About us

SNUG aims to develop a methodology to assist builders and architects in choosing the most appropriate thermal insulation materials and strategies for new construction or renovations. This approach contributes to energy efficiency optimisation and greenhouse gas emissions reduction throughout a building's life cycle, ultimately enhancing its environmental impact and helping achieve a ZEB (Zero Energy Building) rating. Co-funded by the European Union, under Grant Agreement 101123150. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or European Commission. Neither the European Union nor the European Commission can be held responsible for them. The SNUG project has also received funding from the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
