📆 On July 18, Ursula von der Leyen presented her political guidelines for her new mandate 2024-2029, highlighting the critical role of education in the European Research and Innovation (R&I) system. 📌 One of the "Europe's choice" is to put research and innovation at the heart of our economy. In this context, the objectives of the EDU4Standards project are pivotal, as the EDU4Standards.eu aim is to enhance #education through the #innovation of the teaching concepts, expanded courses and create communities and associations of teachers and students. 🔗 📚 Education is essential for achieving strategic initiatives such as the European Green Deal and positioning Europe at the forefront of emerging high-value technologies and educational infrastructure. This effort is part of a broader Strategy for European Life Sciences. Strengthening collaboration between research departments and higher education, particularly through University Alliances, is crucial. ⚙ Europe requires a significant shift in ambition and action across all skill levels and types of training and education to achieve these goals.

The Opinion Mechanism allows the Annex III Societal Stakeholder Organizations to submit an opinion on #standards under development, as a complementary tool to their key participation at the national level.
