The #roof features a 5 m cantilevered edge, providing terrace cover without obstructing views. #Wind #loads are a challenge due to the exposed location and height. ADIDAS ARENA - Paris, France 📍 The Adidas Arena, which will host events for the 2024 Games, is a facility that is contributing to the revitalisation of Porte de La Chapelle, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, France. This 20,000 m² multi-activity hall has a capacity of 8,000 seats. 🏆 🏅 🎉 BAUDIN CHATEAUNEUF made the #metal #structures of the complex: the floors and stairs of the gymnasium and the roof of the large hall. The latter is composed of 7 lattice girders with a span of 80 m with the height between members of 8.50 m. This framework represents a weight of 1,000 tons. The weight of floors and stairs of the gymnasium is 320 tons. Three materials, #concrete, #steel and #timber, are used 😍 so impressive!

CAR PARK BUILDING PEPSICO - Veurne, Belgium 📍 The #parking #building consists of 5 storeys, reaching a maximum height of 15 m, with a footprint of 24 by 62 m. There are 2 stair cores positioned at the extremities, serving as rigid cores. SCIA Engineer proved invaluable in developing the entire #project in 3D and creating a single #calculation #model that accounts for all #load interactions. This included not only wind loads but also #eccentricities during assembly, the numerous braces supporting the prefabricated #beams, and the additionalhorizontal loads resulting from the inclined planes. 😍

STATION - Ede-Wageningen, Netherlands 📍 A new station area in Ede will replace the existing Ede Wageningen railway station. The #structure exhibits eccentric #stability #elements, triangle #roof elements at different heights, 4 expansion joints, a hybrid #structure, strict requirements for horizontal deformation, and relative #flexibility. #Linear #analyses were initially used for the sub models, while the definitive stage involved a #geometric #nonlinear #model of the entire structure with detailed properties.
