We recently attended the inspiring "Auti-communication connects" lecture organized by "Geef me de 5" in Goes, led by Colette de Bruin, the founder of the Geef me de 5 method and a recognized authority on autism. The lecture focused on enhancing communication between individuals with and without autism, highlighting the common miscommunications that can lead to conflicts. Colette shared insights using real-life examples and stressed the importance of understanding different mindsets to foster better relationships. Additionally, Colette took a moment to personally highlight SAM Sensory & More, sharing how our sensory-friendly socks have made a significant difference in her grandchildren's comfort levels, emphasizing the practical benefits of our sensory friendly products in everyday life. Our presents with SAM was an opportunity to showcase how SAM’s sensory-sensitive clothing and accessories can make life more comfortable for those with sensory sensitivities, ultimately improving quality of life. This event was valuable for everyone, from teens to adults, including partners, parents, and professionals, providing both educational insights and practical solutions for living and working with autism.
