⚡ Need for fast (charging)? ⚡   Today, our Managing Director, frank rouwens, together with Jan Caerts, CEO of our partner Storm, and the Mayor of Aalter, Pieter De Crem, officially inaugurated our first Q8 electric fast charging station in Aalter. We have now opened our first four fast charging stations, out of a total of up to 200 that will be built over the next five years.   Here are the locations where you can charge up now:  📍 12 charging points at the carpool car park in Aalter (E40)  📍 14 charging points at the carpool car park in Waasmunster (E17)  📍 10 charging points at the carpool car park in Paal-Beringen (E313)  📍 8 charging points at the junction between Haachtsesteenweg and Leuvensesteenweg in Kampenhout     🚗 Where next?   In the first quarter of 2025 we will be opening our first full-service fast charging stations, complete with a restaurant in Heusden-Zolder and a shop and restaurant in Stekene. 🚶♀️🚴♂️🏃♀️🏊♂️ Our yearly BeWell kilometre challenge is back!  This year, our Q8 team is coming together to make a difference by tracking their cycling, running, walking, and swimming activities to support two remarkable organisations: The Belgian Paralympic Committee sends the Paralympic Team Belgium to the Summer and Winter Games, providing athletes the chance to excel and inspire Belgian society. Fonds Gehandicaptensport helps people with disabilities engage in local sports, making sports a natural part of their lives, and runs initiatives like (s)Cool On Wheels.  We already gathered 104.097km this year!   Let’s keep moving to make a difference 💪 #WeAreQ8 #belgianparalympicteam #BeWell

🌍 On 10 August, we celebrate International Biodiesel Day! We are proud of our HVO100 (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) option, a diesel alternative made from 100% renewable raw materials, which we added to our stations two years ago for both passenger cars and trucks. 🚗 This sustainable fuel – which reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to fossil diesel – fits perfectly with Q8's transformation into a sustainable mobility player. 🌱 #Q8MobilityPlayer 

Tango Harderwijk expands with additional EV charging points We've added more charging power at our Harderwijk station, now featuring six fast charging points! ⚡️ This expansion is part of our growing network, with 35 fast chargers spread across the Netherlands, making your journey smoother and more electrifying. Our station, conveniently located right off the motorway, offers not just fast charges but also a food court and a spacious terrace to wait while keeping an eye on your car. 🍽️ At Q8, we are committed to enhancing your experience. ⚡ Fast-charging expansion: empowering EV drivers ⚡ We’re excited to announce that our network now includes 48 fast chargers in Belgium and another 33 fast chargers in the Netherlands. This growth reflects our commitment to supporting the expanding community of EV drivers with a reliable and extensive charging network. By 2030, we anticipate over 2 million fully electrified cars both in Belgium and the Netherlands. To support this, we plan to roll out over 450 fast charging sites in the next 5 years, using our existing fuel network and new fast-charging stations in partnership with Storm.
