🌿 AufWindTag 2024: celebrating renewable energy at Königsstuhl National Park Centre 🌿 We are thrilled to share highlights from the islands first AufWindTag, held on July 22, 2024, at the stunning Nationalpark-Zentrum KÖNIGSSTUHL Sassnitz gGmbH. This remarkable event brought together various actors of renewable energies and local stakeholders to discuss and celebrate the achievements in Western Pomerania.   A special highlight was the visit of Minister-President Manuela Schwesig and Belgium Ambassador Geert Muylle who witnessed the new partnership between the National Parc Centre and Parkwind. Parkwind proudly handed over a new workboat to the nature reserve. This gesture marks the beginning of an exciting five-year partnership between Parkwind and the visitor centre.   Thank you to all the guests and press who attended and made this event a success. The installation of this innovative boat charging station is a crucial step in our commitment to minimizing greenhouse gas emissions from maintenance vessels and fostering sustainable maritime practices. 🤝 Parkwind and Alinta Energy have submitted a feasibility license application to the Offshore Infrastructure Registrar in Victoria, Australia. ➡️ This marks a significant step forward for the proposed 1GW Spinifex offshore wind farm. 🇦🇺 This milestone is particularly exciting as it represents our continued efforts to scale offshore wind in Australia, following the earlier approval of the feasibility license for the Blue Mackerel North project. ⏲️ While we wait for the feasibility license to be granted Parkwind will continue to work with Alinta Energy on pre-license award work such as visual aerial surveys for marine life, wind monitoring, and stakeholder engagement where appropriate. Before the first colleagues left for the start of their summer vacation, Parkwind organized its 2nd Knowledge & Wellbeing Day. This year, we welcomed all colleagues, even the teams from New Zealand and Australia, in Meeting- en Eventcentrum Staf Versluys. 👁️🗨️ We dedicated a day to sharing and celebrating the contributions of our colleagues and gaining a better understanding of team roles, projects and responsibilities. The informative sessions allow to get a better understanding of the projects that colleagues from other teams are working on and have an enriching effect within the execution of one's own job. 💚 The program was complemented by a focus on self-care, with sessions on unwinding, nutritious eating, stress management and more. ☀ A wonderful day that ended with a sing-along by performer Wim Opbrouck, a delicious meal and socializing under the sun that decided to visit us after all. #KnowledgeAndWellbeing #CompanyCulture #GrowthMindset #WorkingForParkwind #LearningAndDevelopment

🌐 More than ever, Belgium wants to meet global challenges by embracing openness, and by bringing together brilliant innovators from all corners of the world and working together on solutions that benefit everyone. In that context, Wilhelmsen group was asked how they experienced the collaboration with Parkwind.  Parkwind and Ingka Investments form the Ventyr consortium, which is supported by NorSea Group, with Wilhelmsen group as its main shareholder. 🏗 Together, we are building the green future of Norway, with the first turbines of the SNII wind farm expected to be operational by 2030. 💙 It is then of course very gratifying to hear that this collaboration is also perceived positively by Wilhelmsen Group:  “Belgium has significant competence in the offshore wind sector. As part of the Belgian economic mission, an Energy Summit with a dedicated meeting on renewable energy was organized. During this event Parkwind's co-CEO Eric Antoons, together with John Egil Stangeland, CEO of NorSea Group, presented the SNI II project, a realization of the Ventyr consortium.
