Last Saturday Nemho colleagues participated in the Kiwanis Weert Dragon Boat Race. CoSI2024 was a BLAST! 💥 This week I took part in the CoSI Conference - Coatings Science International aka the best coatings conference in the world. Big thanks to Nemho (Next Material House) for giving me the chance to present our latest results on Interpenetrating Polymer Network (IPN) coatings via EB curing. I was honoured to talk with/next to much smarter and more successful scientists than myself. My head is now full of ideas for improving what I already do and (most importantly) for making things that not yet exist - the very foundation of chemistry itself. On to the next! (CoSI2025)

Combining fun work related workshops with getting to know each other in different ways greatly promotes cooperation and the good atmosphere in our teams at Nemho. 🔗 Therefore we integrated these important activities into our annual Spring event this week. In the morning we participated in interactive sessions centered around Trespa product compliance and in the afternoon we defied the rainy weather on the golf course. We participated in workshops centered around preventing accidents, and enjoyed hearing mountain climber, Melvin Redeker, share his experiences about commitment to safety. Normally we're focused on development, creation and testing products for Broadview material companies, but last Friday we rolled up our sleeves to make a difference as part of the #NLdoet activities. We joined other volunteers at Vrakkerplein in Weert to tidy up their gardening beds and get things ready for spring planting and summer activities.

It's the Week of the Circular Economy in the Netherlands. One of the topics our sustainability team is working on is the circularity of our Group's products. Trespa Second Life is one of these initiatives. We believe in a circular economy and focus on reusing rather than recycling. By extending the life of Trespa durable and strong panels through reuse, we not only conserve resources but also significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
