On August 19-20, the ESA's JUICE mission will achieve a world-first lunar-Earth flyby, using the gravity of both the Moon and Earth to slingshot towards Jupiter! 🌌   What's a #flyby? 🤔   ◾ A flyby is a space maneuver where a spacecraft uses the gravitational pull of a celestial body, like the Moon or Earth, to change its trajectory and gain speed without using extra fuel. ◾ Imagine JUICE performing a cosmic dance💃 swinging around the Moon and then Earth, harnessing their gravitational forces to catapult itself towards its ultimate destination—Jupiter 🚀 ◾ This gravity assist is crucial for saving energy and increasing the spacecraft's velocity, enabling JUICE to embark on its journey across the solar system. Equipped with Lambda-X optics for its monitoring cameras, 📸 JUICE will explore Jupiter's moons, uncovering the mysteries of our solar system 🔍   We are incredibly proud to contribute to such a historic mission 🌠   Learn more about this mission: https://lnkd.in/db-6tHfY Image credits: European Space Agency - ESA   #monitoringcamera #SpaceExploration #JUICEMission #LambdaX #Innovation #HighTech #JourneyToJupiter

The first two days at the BIO International Convention: a great blend of partnering and conferences. 🌐 The focus on biomanufacturing, cell and gene therapy, and diagnostics truly aligns with the core of LAMBDA-X High Tech's activities. One of the highlights was attending a talk on microgravity and its advantages in R&D. The discussion on how microgravity affects the crystallization process and provides a better understanding of protein interactions was fascinating. It was also inspiring to hear firsthand experiences from Kate Rubins, one of the astronauts who conducted these experiments on the ISS. The convergence of life science and space is not only exciting but crucial for the future of our medicine. BIO is undoubtedly the place to be for cutting-edge presentations where automation, AI, and imaging come together to enable faster drug discoveries. The partnering events are buzzing with energy, and I’m looking forward to the next two days of BIO to explore how LAMBDA-X High Tech can boost innovation in biomanufacturing and diagnostics. #BIO2024 #LifeSciences #Microgravity #Imaging #Biomanufacturing #Microscopy

🚀🌌 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 🌌🚀 The Peregrinus project, a remarkable collaboration among three Belgian schools from Wallonia, Flanders, and Brussels, is about to make history. These students are the first in the EU to see their project fly into space! This innovative project involves a 500-gram device designed and built entirely by the students themselves. It will measure solar radiation and the Earth's magnetic field during its 1.5-hour orbit at an altitude of 600 km, aboard the Ariane 6 rocket. The data collected will be transmitted back to Earth via satellite, contributing valuable information to our understanding of space environments. This initiative is a testament to the ingenuity and dedication of our young scientists and their inspiring teachers. As they fly to Kourou to witness their project launch, we celebrate their hard work and vision. 👏 At LAMBDA-X High Tech, we are committed to fostering innovation and supporting educational projects that pave the way for future advancements in space exploration. The Peregrinus project exemplifies the spirit of discovery and collaboration that drives us forward. Join us in congratulating these bright minds and wishing them success on this incredible journey.
